And what are the best episodes to watch? In this article, we will answer all these questions and more. Read on to learn everything you need to know about Bakugan Battle Brawlers.
What is Bakugan?
Bakugan are spherical creatures that can transform into powerful warriors when they are rolled onto special cards called Gate Cards. Each Bakugan has a unique attribute (such as fire, water, wind, earth, light, or dark) and a power level (called G-Power) that determines its strength in battle. Bakugan can also evolve into stronger forms by absorbing energy from other Bakugan or special items called Ability Cards.
What is the story of Bakugan Battle Brawlers?
The story of Bakugan Battle Brawlers follows the adventures of Dan Kuso and his friends, who discover the mysterious Bakugan when they fall from the sky one day. They soon learn that the Bakugan are actually alien beings from a parallel dimension called Vestroia, where they were engaged in a war between two factions: the benevolent Six Ancient Warriors and the evil Naga. Naga tried to steal the core of Vestroia, which contains the balance of all attributes, but failed and caused the core to split into two parts: the Infinity Core and the Silent Core. The Infinity Core was taken by one of the Six Ancient Warriors, Wavern, while the Silent Core was absorbed by Naga, who became corrupted by its negative energy. The explosion also scattered the Bakugan and the Gate Cards across Earth, where they were found by humans.
Dan and his friends form a group called the Battle Brawlers and team up with their Bakugan partners to protect the Infinity Core from Naga and his minions, who want to use it to destroy both Vestroia and Earth. Along the way, they meet other brawlers who join their cause or oppose them, as well as learn more about the origin and secrets of the Bakugan.
How do you play Bakugan?
Bakugan is both an anime series and a toy-based game that can be played with real-life Bakugan toys and cards. The game is similar to marbles, but with more strategy and customization. Here are the basic rules of how to play Bakugan:
Each player needs three Bakugan, three Gate Cards (one of each color: gold, silver, and bronze), and six Ability Cards (three green and three red).
The players take turns placing their Gate Cards face down on a flat surface, forming a 3×3 matrix.
The players then take turns rolling their Bakugan onto the Gate Cards. If a Bakugan lands on a Gate Card and opens up, it activates the card and stays on it. If a Bakugan misses or does not open up, it returns to its owner.
If two or more Bakugan of different players land on the same Gate Card, a battle occurs. The players reveal the Gate Card and compare the G-Power of their Bakugan. The player with the highest G-Power wins the battle and takes the Gate Card and all the Bakugan on it.
The players can also use their Ability Cards to boost their G-Power or affect their opponent’s G-Power during a battle. Green Ability Cards can be used before a roll, while red Ability Cards can be used after a roll.
The first player to win three Gate Cards wins the game.
