    Mai Mizusawa (水沢まい) is a former Japanese idol and singer who was born on May 2, 1991 in Osaka, Japan. She was a member of several idol groups, such as OZ, Steam Girls, Alice Juban, Kamen Joshi and Pureful. She graduated from the groups on December 29, 2018.

    Mizusawa started her career as a member of OZ, a rock idol group that debuted in 2009. She then joined Steam Girls, a sub-unit of Alice Project that performed electro-pop songs. In 2011, she became a member of Alice Juban, another sub-unit of Alice Project that performed heavy metal songs. She also formed a duo with another Alice Juban member, Sakura Rina, called Pureful.

    In 2014, Mizusawa joined Kamen Joshi, a masked idol group that was created by combining Alice Juban, Steam Girls and another sub-unit called Armor Girls. Kamen Joshi gained popularity for their energetic and unconventional performances that involved masks, weapons and special effects. Their song “Genkidane” reached number one on the Oricon weekly singles chart in 2015.

    Mizusawa was known for her cute and cheerful personality and her powerful vocals. She also appeared in some movies and TV shows, such as Kimagure Underground -Rumble Moods- and Mai-chan’s Daily Life. She retired from the entertainment industry in 2018 to pursue other goals.

    After retiring from the idol industry, Mizusawa pursued her interest in cooking and baking. She enrolled in a culinary school and learned various skills and techniques. She also started a YouTube channel where she shared her recipes and tips with her fans. She often featured her former idol mates as guests on her videos.
