Step 1: Get the Multisim Installer
The first step is to visit the download page of Multisim: Download Multisim. Here you can select the version and edition of Multisim that you want to download. You can also see the system requirements and the supported operating systems for each version.
After you make your selection, click the download button and the download of the software will begin. The file name will be ni-cds-educational_xx_online_repackx.exe for the Education Edition or ni-cds-professional_xx_online.exe for the Professional Edition. This is an application that manages the download process.
Step 2: Begin the Download and the Installation
Once the download is complete, go to the .exe file that was downloaded and launch it. To do this, double-click on it. Accept the pop-out window that asks for permission to run the file. Then, NI Package Installer will launch.
A new window will show up with the NI License Agreement. Read it carefully and accept it if you agree with the terms. Then click Next. Follow the instructions of the NI Package Installer. You will see the installation progress bar and some information about Multisim and its features. Once the installation is complete, reboot your computer.
Step 3: Activate Multisim
