    Naomi Yamaguchi is a young pianist who has been making waves in the classical music scene. Born in Michigan to a Japanese father and an American mother, Naomi started playing the piano at the age of four and made her orchestral debut at the age of eight. Since then, she has performed in various prestigious venues and competitions, such as the Detroit Institute for the Arts, Jordan Hall, Detroit Symphony Hall, Consulate of Japan, the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, and in Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Massachusetts, Switzerland, and Italy.

    Naomi has won several awards and honors for her musical talent, including first prizes at the Kaufman Music Center International Youth Piano Competition, the Cliburn Junior Piano Competition, and the Hilton Head International Piano Competition. She has also been featured on From the Top and WQXR’s Young Artist Showcase. Naomi is currently a second-year student of Hitomi Koyama at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School.
